AEG Live Rebrands To AEG Presents

LOS ANGELES (VIP-NEWS) — The world`s second-largest concert promoter is now named AEG Presents.

The entertainment giant behind events like Coachella and Stagecoach in Southern California, Panorama Festival in New York City and 8,000 concerts a year around the world has quietly changed its name as part of a company-wide rebranding strategy to create a new identity for AEG`s concerts and festival division. The new name also comes with a new logo that will be rolled out across AEG Lives 16 regional offices.

The name switch comes after AEG acquired a stake in US promoter and venue management company The Bowery Presents earlier this year. The firm is yet to make an official announcement on the rebrand.

AEG is the world`s second biggest concert promoter, behind Live Nation, with 16 regional offices, working with artists such as Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Kenny Chesney. It also produces or supports over 25 music festivals including the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.

The company`s AEG Facilities division owns and operates over 100 venues worldwide including the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Barclays Center in Brooklyn, The SSE Arena, Wembley, and the world`s busiest venue, The O2 in London.

AEG stages more than 8,000 shows annually, conducting business under brands such as AEG Live, Goldenvoice, Concerts West, Messina Touring Group, Marshall Arts LTD and Madison House Presents. It also promotes the annual British Summer Time Hyde Park series, which this year features acts including Green Day, The Killers, Phil Collins, Justin Bieber, Kings Of Leon and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.
